HighForce was established in 2010 on the lands of the Turrbal people in the Northern Suburbs of Brisbane. What started as a vision to deliver wireless telecommunications infrastructure and technology has grown into a formidable presence, with a skilled team of over 60.
Our journey embodies the values of safety, collaboration, accountability, and integrity. From the outset, our teams have navigated remote and challenging terrains, executing high-risk activities like working at extreme heights and in secluded areas over extended periods. Living away, working together — it's a testament to the trust, skill, and communication within our teams and with stakeholders and the environment.
As we tread this path, wherever our work takes us, we actively engage with local communities and businesses, ensuring the safe, appropriate, and effective delivery of our services.
Our commitment goes beyond delivering communications infrastructure — it extends to fostering and acknowledging the diverse cultures that enrich our work, as we seek to integrate inclusivity, employment opportunities, and cultural understanding into our organisation.
Our approach to work is through good communication and local engagement, such as our remote work engaging closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and infusing cultural awareness into our practices. Local communities and businesses aren't just stakeholders; they're integral partners in delivering our services with cultural respect, safety, and effectiveness.
Throughout our growth, we've actively engaged with local communities, contributing to their well-being. Steps have been taken to foster inclusivity and support local, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment. While our journey is ongoing, we proudly share our achievements and initiatives, transparently showcasing our commitment to making a difference.
Dedicated to building communications networks infrastructure, providing maintenance, and offering technical solutions, HighForce's mission is to keep people and communities connected through its’ expertise and capable, safe, and dynamic team.
About the Artwork
The artwork represents HighForce working on country – connecting communities.
“Before considering a worksite, the People from HighForce come together with local, traditional custodians, to talk about land, to talk about native animals, flora, and fauna of the ancient land. And they offer their hand in friendship, symbolised by the Emu feather. They come together to talk, to hear the stories, the" messages passed on about the land in which HighForce are about to work on and before they can lay the foundations. With this in mind; the HighForce work sites will be protected for the respect, the kindness, care and commitment to caring for country”.
