About the role

Due to recent award of new projects we are seeking experienced Project Engineers to join our Project Team based in Sydney

You will be responsible for managing the client, internal crews, and subcontractors, directing construction/technical activities, and ensuring the delivery of high quality work as per construction/technical guidelines, specifications and drawings.

This is a varied role with a high level of autonomy, key day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Perform initial site audit visits to ensure correct designs and an agreed approach to builds.

  • Perform design desktop reviews to ensure buildability and safety in design, liaise with SAED vendor and provide solutions as required

  • Create Material list for Free Issue Materials (FIM) and other Bill of Materials items Submit requests, manage status of and finally arrange delivery of the equipment to site in line with the schedule

  • Create and maintain a schedule for allocated sites

  • Submit accurate outage requests for network elements in line with the schedule

  • Liaise with client at all levels to provide reporting / assistance / general info with all aspects of builds in progress and builds scheduled

  • Control Time, Cost, Scope and Quality during entire build phase to ensure best outcome for our clients

  • Proactively manage Quality and rectifications as required

  • Provide Technical Support & management for field technicians, civil and rigging personnel

  • Coordinate and upload documentation including Handover over packs/ photos / redlines

  • Take part in client and internal meetings

  • Technical input in the quoting process


About you


You must have experience working in the mobile carrier space and or in the GRN or NSWTA network and have a solid knowledge of telecommunications standards, and handover requirements.
